Is the Mayeerty futon good for everyday sleeping?

It works as an occasional twin bed for guests. The pillow seat and back cushions are thin, so most people will want a mattress topper for nightly use.

How big is it when flat?

The seat surface is 62.99 inches wide and 30.12 inches deep, which makes a twin-size sleeping area. Check your room against those figures before buying.

What tools do I need for assembly?

Tools are not included, so have a screwdriver and the usual hex or wrench set on hand. Plan on adult assembly before first use.

Does the backrest really lock in five positions?

Yes, the back adjusts through five positions, from upright for sitting to flat for sleeping. It is a manual adjustment, not a power mechanism.

Is $89.99 a good price?

It is the lowest new price among the two stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. At that level it undercuts most twin futons, so it is a strong budget buy.

Can two people sit on it?

Yes, it seats up to two. At 62.99 inches wide there is room for two adults, though the armless frame gives no side support.
