Cruise the boardwalk on a bike built for the beach

Questions and answers

Is the Costway 26-inch beach cruiser good for beginners?

Yes, for flat, casual riding. The step-through frame and upright position are easy to handle, but the single speed limits it on hills.

How much assembly does it need?

It ships unassembled. Expect to fit the front wheel, handlebars, seat, pedals and brakes, and to check brake and bearing adjustment before the first ride.

Is $159.90 a good price?

It is the lowest new price among the 3 stores listing it as of November 8, 2026, and sits at the bottom of its recent range. Budget cruisers rarely drop much below this.

What size rider does it fit?

It is an adult bike with 26-inch wheels and a step-through frame. It suits most riders around 5'3" to 6'0", but check the standover height before buying.

Can it handle hills or long commutes?

Not well. The single-speed drivetrain and heavy frame make it a poor choice for hills or daily long-distance commuting.

What is the warranty?

Parts are covered for 90 days. That is short for a bike, so inspect the brakes, bearings and frame as soon as it arrives.
