About the Dual Electronics xdvd269bt 6.2 inch Car Stereo Head Unit

The Dual Electronics XDVD269BT is a double-DIN in-dash head unit with a 6.2-inch LED touchscreen, Bluetooth, CD/DVD playback, front USB and aux input, and a backup camera input. It is a budget unit: 50W x 4 peak power, one pair of rear preamp outputs, a 7-band EQ and 800x480 resolution. At $64.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, which ran from $37.00 on October 28 to $64.99 on October 29. It is a low-cost way to add a screen and Bluetooth to an older car, not a step up in sound quality.

    Questions and answers

Is the Dual XDVD269BT worth it?
At $64.99 it is a cheap way to get Bluetooth, a touchscreen and a backup camera input into an older car. Expect basic sound and build quality rather than a premium upgrade.
Does it support Android Auto or Apple CarPlay?
No. It runs its own interface with Bluetooth audio and calls, CD/DVD, USB and aux. Phone mirroring is not part of the feature set.
    Will it fit my car?
It is a universal double-DIN unit with a full-depth chassis, so it fits most double-DIN openings. You may need a dash kit and a separate adapter for steering wheel controls.
Does it work with a backup camera?
Yes, it has a dedicated rear camera input. The camera itself is not included.
    What comes in the box?
The head unit and a wiring harness are included. A dash kit, steering wheel adapter and backup camera are sold separately.
    When is it cheapest?
Its lowest recent daily price was $37.00 on October 28, 2026, against $64.99 on October 29. The current $64.99 is the high end of that range, so waiting for a drop makes sense.
