Is $800 a good price for this ring?

Only Macy's lists it new, at $800 as of November 7, 2026, so there is no competing price to beat. Whether it is good depends on the gemstone's size and quality, which the listing does not spell out.

What gemstone is in the ring?

The listing names it only as a gemstone band in 14k gold. Ask Macy's for the stone type, carat weight and cut before buying.

Is 14k gold good for everyday wear?

Yes. 14k gold is 58.5% gold and harder than 18k or 24k, so it holds up to daily wear better. It can still scratch, and the setting should be checked periodically.

A plain 14k gold band can usually be resized by a jeweler, but a gemstone setting can limit how far. Confirm with Macy's before ordering if you need a size change.

Macy's runs jewelry promotions around holidays and its friends-and-family events. With one listing there is no price history, so compare against those sale periods.
