Is the Movado Trend Impulse a good watch for the price?

At $259.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, you pay mostly for the Movado name and the bold chronograph look. The quartz movement and 44mm case are solid everyday specs, but this is a fashion watch, not a precision instrument.

The case is 44mm across, which is on the large side. It suits medium to large wrists; on a slim wrist it will look oversized.

It is listed as water resistant, but no depth rating is given. Treat it as safe for hand washing and rain, not for swimming or showering.

Does the chronograph need winding?

No. It runs on a quartz movement, so it only needs a battery change every couple of years. The chronograph pushers work independently of the timekeeping.

Expect the watch and its manual; the listing does not detail the packaging. Movado watches typically ship in a branded box, but confirm with the seller if the box matters for a gift.

Only one new price is tracked, $259.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent low to compare. Watch for holiday and end-of-season sales, when fashion watches usually drop.
