Turn the living room wall into movie night

Questions and answers

Is the Happrun projector really 1080p?

Yes, the native resolution is 1920 x 1080. It also decodes 4K input and displays it at 1080p, so 4K content plays but is not shown at 4K.

Do I need a streaming stick with it?

No. Google TV is built in, with Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and Hulu available through the interface, and Google Assistant handles voice search.

How bright is it, and can I use it with the lights on?

Happrun rates it at 1,500 ANSI lumens. That is fine in a dim room, but in daylight or with lights on, expect a washed-out picture; a 2,000-lumen LCD projector at this price is not a daylight projector.

How big a screen can it make?

Screen size depends on how far you place it from the wall, and Happrun does not list an optical zoom. Auto keystone and auto screen alignment help square the image, but you still move the projector to change size.

Can I connect a soundbar or console?

Yes. Bluetooth lets you pair a soundbar or speaker, and HDMI inputs take a console, stick or laptop. Check the port list on the box for the exact HDMI count.

Is $289.98 a good price?

That is the only price tracked so far, $289.98 at Walmart as of October 31, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to compare against. For a 1080p Google TV projector with auto setup, it sits in the usual budget range.
