Is the Sagarmatha rug worth $527.99?

That is the highest recent price we have seen for it, at Lowe's as of November 4, 2026. If you are not in a hurry, waiting for a drop makes sense, since only two stores carry it new.

What sizes does it come in?

The rug is 3 by 5 feet, and there is an 8-foot runner version. Both are rectangular and made of wool.

How do I clean a wool rug like this?

Vacuum regularly without a beater bar and blot spills right away. For deeper cleaning, use a wool-safe spot cleaner or a professional cleaner; do not machine wash it.

Does a wool rug shed?

Yes, new wool rugs shed loose fibers for the first few weeks. Regular vacuuming settles it, and shedding slows over time.

Where does it fit best?

A 3x5 works at a bedside, in an entryway or in front of a small sofa. The 8-foot runner suits hallways and galley kitchens.
