Is the Myia sofa worth $1,399?

At $1,399 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for an 82-inch leather sofa with tufted detailing. Comparable leather sofas often run higher. Check the price history before buying, since Macy's runs frequent furniture sales.

Is it real leather or bonded leather?

Macy's lists the cover as leather with a smooth texture. Bonded or faux leather would be called out separately, so treat it as leather, but confirm the exact grade on the product label before ordering.

Will it fit through my door?

It is 82 inches wide, 36 inches deep and 35 inches high. Measure your doorway, stairwell and turns first; an 82-inch sofa often needs a straight path or a removable back to get in.

How firm is the seat?

Seats use 2.5 lb. density polyurethane foam, which is on the firm side for a sofa in this class. Expect a supportive seat that softens slightly with use rather than a deep sink-in feel.

How do I clean the tufted leather?

Wipe smooth leather with a damp cloth and condition it a few times a year. Use a soft brush or vacuum crevice tool on the tufting, since crumbs collect in the folds.

Macy's discounts furniture most around major holiday sales and clearance events. The current best new price is $1,399 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026; watch the price history for drops.
