Is the Delsey Shadow DLX carry-on worth it?

At $135.99 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, it is a solid value for a hard-shell spinner. Buyers rate it 4.9 out of 5, with praise for smooth wheels and sturdy build.

Does it fit airline carry-on limits?

It is a small carry-on sized for most major US airlines. Keep it unexpanded on strict carriers, since expansion adds depth.

What is the difference between the Shadow DLX and the standard Shadow?

The DLX line adds upgraded spinner wheels and a more refined hard-shell finish. Both are expandable carry-ons in the same size class.

Is the shell expandable?

Yes, a zippered expansion section adds packing depth. Use it for the return trip, then zip it back for the flight home.

What color is this model?

This listing is the burgundy colorway. Delsey has offered the Shadow DLX in other colors, but this page shows only burgundy.

When is the price lowest?

The current best new price is $135.99 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026. Luggage tends to drop during holiday and back-to-school sales.
