Is the Shark PowerPro Flex Pet good for pet hair?

Yes. It has a HEPA filter and a pet tool for upholstery and stairs, and owners rate it well on hair pickup. Heavy shedding means emptying the small bin often.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime is limited and depends on the power mode. Expect to recharge between rooms on high power; owners commonly complain it will not finish a whole house on one charge.

Does it work on carpet?

It cleans low-pile carpet and rugs, but suction on deep carpet is weaker than a corded upright. It is strongest on hard floors and quick pickups.

Can it convert to a handheld?

Yes. The stick converts to a handheld with the wand removed, which suits stairs, car seats and crevices.

Is $179.99 a good price?

It is the only price seen since November 2, 2026, so there is no lower recent point to compare against. At $179.99 at Target as of November 6, 2026, it is the current best new price across the three stores that list it.

About 7 lb, which is light for a cordless stick and makes overhead or stair cleaning easier.
