Is this monitor good for competitive gaming?

It is fine for casual play at 165 Hz, but the 5 ms response and VA smearing make it a weaker pick for fast competitive shooters than a 1 ms IPS or OLED panel.

Does it work with a PS5 or Xbox Series X?

It has HDMI, so consoles connect, but consoles cap ultrawide output and will letterbox the 3440x1440 screen. Expect black bars on the sides.

Typically the monitor, stand, power cable and an HDMI or DisplayPort cable. Check the listing for the exact cable included before buying.

Is $189.99 a good price?

It is the only price recorded since November 4, 2026, at $189.99 from Distritech, and it is low for a 34-inch 165 Hz ultrawide. There is no lower history to wait for.

Does it have built-in speakers?

Most Gawfolk models in this line do not include usable speakers. Plan on external speakers or a headset.
