About the Hisense U6 Series 4K Mini-LED QLED UHD Smart Fire TV
The Hisense U6 Series is a budget 4K TV that uses mini-LED backlighting and a quantum dot layer, a combination usually reserved for pricier sets. It runs Amazon's Fire TV platform, has four HDMI ports, Wi-Fi 6 and a 144Hz refresh rate. At $399.99 at Best Buy as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, so this is close to the cheapest it has been.

Pros
- Mini-LED backlight gives deeper blacks and higher brightness than edge-lit budget TVs
- 144Hz refresh rate suits consoles and fast motion
- Four HDMI ports is generous at this price
- Fire TV built in, with Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet
- Quantum dot layer broadens color versus plain LED sets
