Rattan and linen glow that makes any corner feel like a getaway

Questions and answers

Is $72.90 a good price for this lamp?

It is the only new price we have, $72.90 at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Comparable rattan-shade arc lamps usually sell for $100 to $200, which makes this a low entry price.

Does the dimmer work with any bulb?

Dimmable floor lamps need a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer; a standard LED may flicker or only switch on and off. Check the bulb type the lamp ships with or buy a dimmable LED.

How much floor space does an arc lamp need?

The curved arm reaches over a seat, so the base sits behind or beside it. Leave room for the base plus the swing of the arm, and keep the shade clear of head height.

Can I use it as a reading light?

The drum shade spreads light rather than focusing it, so it works for ambient reading light but is weaker for close page work. Pair it with a table lamp if you read for long stretches.

What is in the box?

Expect the base, the arc pole sections, the rattan and linen drum shade and the hardware. Bulbs are often sold separately on lamps like this, so confirm before ordering.
