Is this the same as the regular 5-inch Griella?

No. This version has a sound module and sings; the standard 5-inch Griella is silent. Check the listing for "With Sound" before buying.

What batteries does it need?

It runs on button-cell batteries in the sound module. They usually come installed with a pull tab, and the module is not replaceable by washing.

Can it go in the washing machine?

No. Spot clean only, because water will damage the sound unit.

Is 5 inches big enough for a young child?

It is a palm-sized plush, good for baskets and small hands but not for hugging. Older kids usually want the 8-inch or larger sizes.

The lowest daily price seen since November 5, 2026 was $8.00 on November 6, versus $9.78 on November 5. Easter-season stock tends to sell out, so waiting carries a risk.

About the Squishmallows Griella The Cow

Griella is a 5-inch Squishmallows plush: a brown cow with a rainbow-spotted belly and an Easter theme. This version has a sound module and sings when squeezed, which sets it apart from the plain 5-inch Griella. The lowest daily price seen since November 5, 2026 was $8.00 on November 6, against a high of $9.78 on November 5, so the current price sits near the bottom of that range.
