Is the Sealy Lacey firm mattress good for side sleepers?

It is a firm mattress, and most side sleepers need more cushioning at the shoulder and hip. Back and stomach sleepers are the better fit. If you sleep on your side, consider a medium or plush model.

Does it work on an adjustable bed?

Yes. Sealy lists it as an adjustable-bed-compatible foam mattress, and the all-foam build bends with the frame. Check that your base supports a California King.

What size is the California King version?

It measures 84 inches wide by 80 inches long and is 13 inches thick. That is wider and shorter than a standard King, so measure your room and frame first.

Is $1,459 a good price?

It is the best new price found as of November 4, 2026, at bigsonline.com, and only one store lists it new. With no competing listings, compare it against other firm California King foam mattresses before buying.

Does the gel memory foam sleep cool?

Gel-infused foam is designed to draw heat away, and owners report it sleeps cooler than traditional memory foam. It is still foam, so hot sleepers may want a breathable cover or a cooling topper.

The mattress ships compressed and rolled in a box. It needs time to expand to its full 13-inch height, and you supply the foundation or adjustable base.
