Is this mattress good for side sleepers?

Mostly no. The firm tight top and thin foam layer give little cushioning at the shoulder and hip, so side sleepers often feel pressure. It suits back and stomach sleepers better.

Does it work on an adjustable bed?

Yes. Sealy lists the Essentials as adjustable-bed compatible, and the 6-inch profile bends easily on a powered base.

How firm is it really?

It is a true firm. The gel memory foam layer is thin, so most of the feel comes from the innerspring core underneath.

What size is the Twin XL?

It is 80 inches long and 76 inches wide, with a 6-inch thickness. Twin XL length matches a standard twin width but adds 5 inches of length for taller sleepers.

Is it worth it over a thicker mattress?

For a guest room, dorm or adjustable base on a budget, yes. For nightly use by a heavier sleeper or a couple, a thicker model with more foam gives better support.
