Questions and answers

Is the Mooncool Folding Electric Bike worth $1,079.99?

At $1,079.99 at Mooncool as of November 7, 2026, you get hydraulic brakes, fat tires and a 7-speed drivetrain, which is a lot for a folding e-bike. It is the only new price listed, so compare against other folders with hydraulic brakes before deciding.

How fast does it go and how far on a charge?

Mooncool does not list range or top speed in the specs given here. Ask the seller for the motor wattage, battery capacity and rated range before buying.

Can it fit in a car trunk?

Yes, the frame folds, and the 20-inch wheels keep the folded package compact enough for most hatchbacks and SUVs. Check the folded dimensions with Mooncool if trunk space is tight.

Are the tires good for gravel?

The 3-inch tires give more grip and cushioning than narrow street tires, so light gravel and dirt paths are fine. They are not knobby off-road tires, so deep mud and loose sand are a stretch.

What comes in the box?

The listing does not detail the box contents. Confirm with Mooncool whether a charger, tools and pedals are included before ordering.

When is it cheapest?

There is only one new price listed, $1,079.99 at Mooncool as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent low to time a purchase against. Watch for seasonal sales from Mooncool directly.
