Is the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 good for everyday work?

Yes. The 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and 1200p screen handle office apps, video calls and many browser tabs easily. It is not built for gaming or heavy 3D work.

How does it compare with the T14?

The T14s is thinner and lighter than the standard T14, at about 2.4 lb here. The trade-off is soldered RAM and fewer ports than the T14.

Can I upgrade the RAM later?

No. Memory is soldered on the T14s, so choose 32 GB up front if you expect to keep it for years.

Expect the laptop and its USB-C power adapter. A stylus and docking station are not included.

ThinkPads typically drop during Lenovo sales events and back-to-school periods. Compare the live price history before buying.

Is the touchscreen worth it?

It helps for presentations and note-taking, but adds glare and battery drain. Skip it if you mostly type.
