Is this set worth $252?

At $252 at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, it is a mid-range enameled cast iron set. You pay less than Le Creuset or Staub and still get induction support and oven safety.

Does it work on induction?

Yes. The cast iron body is induction compatible, and BergHOFF also lists electric cast-iron cooktops.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. BergHOFF lists it as hand wash only. Wash by hand to protect the enamel finish.

What is in the 4-piece set?

It is a mixed set of enameled cast iron pieces with at least one lid. Check the listing for the exact pot and pan sizes before buying.

How does it compare with Le Creuset?

Both are enameled cast iron and oven safe. BergHOFF costs far less, but Le Creuset has a longer track record for enamel durability and warranty support.

Macy's shows $252 as of November 7, 2026. Watch for holiday and home-sale events, when enameled cast iron often drops.
