Is the Chime 12 Inch good for side sleepers?

The plush memory foam top cushions shoulders and hips, so many side sleepers find it comfortable. Heavier sleepers may sink too far and want a firmer mattress.

Does it need a box spring?

No foundation is included. It works on a box spring, a platform bed or a slatted frame; a solid base helps it last longer.

How long until it expands?

It ships rolled in a box and usually reaches full height within 24 to 72 hours after unboxing. Sleeping on it sooner is fine.

Is $349 a good price?

No. It sold for $178.99 on November 2, 2026, and $279.99 on October 30, so $349 at Emma Mason is well above its recent range. Waiting for a drop makes sense.

Can the cover be washed?

No. The polyester knit cover is spot clean only, so blot stains with a mild detergent and let it air dry.

Is it good for a guest room?

Yes. It is inexpensive, ships in a box and suits occasional use, which is why guest beds and kids' rooms are its main uses.

About the Chime 12 Inch Memory Foam Mattress

The Chime 12 Inch is a budget memory foam mattress that ships rolled in a box and expands on a box spring or platform. It pairs a plush memory foam comfort layer with a firmer support foam core, and the stretch-knit polyester cover is spot-clean only. The best new price is $349 at Emma Mason as of November 6, 2026, well above the $178.99 low seen on November 2 and the $279.99 high on October 30, so this is not a good moment to buy.
