Questions and answers

How many sheets can it cut at once?
Up to 12 sheets of standard paper per pass. Thicker stacks or cardstock should be cut in smaller batches for a clean edge.
Is it safe for classroom use?
It has an adjustable transparent guard rail and a safety blade lock, which help, but the guillotine blade is exposed during cutting. It suits supervised older students rather than young children.
Can it cut photos and vinyl?
Yes. It is listed for paper, photos and vinyl, and the scale guide helps line up photo borders. Cut vinyl in single layers to avoid slipping.
How big is it and where can I store it?
It measures 15.5 by 8.6 by 7 inches and weighs 3.65 lbs. The compact footprint fits on a desk, and it can be stored in a drawer or cabinet.
Does it cut in inches and millimeters?
Yes, the scale alignment guide is marked in both inches and millimeters, which helps with photo and craft measurements.
When is the best time to buy it?
Trimmers like this usually drop during back-to-school and office-supply sales. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
