Questions and answers

Is this e-bike worth $469.99?
At $469.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, you get a 1200W peak motor, a 48V 18Ah removable battery and a 650 lb steel frame, which is a lot of hardware for the money. The catch is weight, small wheels and a 6.5-hour charge.
How far can it go on a charge?
The listed range is up to 35 miles per charge from the 48V 18Ah battery. Expect less than that with a heavy rider, hills or throttle-only riding.
How long does charging take?
A full recharge takes about 6.5 hours. The battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors or at a desk rather than parking the bike near an outlet.
Will it fit a short rider?
The 16-inch frame and 16-inch wheels suit shorter adults; one owner at 5'1" called the size perfect. Taller riders may find the cockpit cramped.
What comes in the box?
The bike ships with a pump, a bike lock and a tool kit. Battery and charger are part of the bike itself.
Is it good for heavy riders?
The steel frame is rated to support up to 650 lbs, which covers most adults and gear. Check that your local rules allow a bike this powerful on paths.
Where is the 1200W Off-Road Electric Bike for Adults 48V 18Ah Removable Battery cheapest?
