Questions and answers

Is this cabinet worth it over a custom farm sink base?
At $309.00 at The Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it costs far less than a custom cabinet. You trade solid-wood construction and interior fittings for an assembled, trimmable box that fits a standard 36-inch farm sink.
Will it fit my apron sink?
The front is trimmable, so it accepts farm sinks up to roughly 36 inches wide. Check your sink's exact apron width and height before cutting, since the cabinet is 34.5 inches tall.
What is included in the box?
You get the assembled cabinet with both doors and adjustable hinges. Installation hardware, a toe kick and filler strips are not included and must be bought separately.
Does it have shelves or drawers?
No. It has zero shelves and zero drawers, leaving one open compartment for the sink, plumbing and storage.
How does it compare with Hampton Bay's standard sink base?
This version has a trimmable apron front for farm sinks and a finished interior. A standard sink base has a full front panel and is not cut for an apron sink.
When is the price lowest?
Kitchen cabinet promotions at The Home Depot tend to run around holiday sales and kitchen events. The current best is $309.00 as of November 3, 2026; watch for store-wide cabinet discounts.
