Questions and answers

Can I mount a 3.5-inch hard drive in this bracket?
No. The listing states it is not compatible with 3.5-inch hard drives. It is for floppy drives, front USB hubs, card readers and fan controllers.
Will it fit my case's 5.25-inch bay?
It is sized for a standard 5.25-inch front bay, about 5.12 by 5.75 inches at the face. Check that your case has a free external 5.25-inch bay.
What comes in the box?
The bracket and a mounting screw kit. No cables or drive rails are included.
Does it work with 2.5-inch SSDs?
Not directly. The bracket is built for 3.5-inch devices, so a 2.5-inch drive would need its own adapter.
Is it worth it over a plastic bracket?
Metal holds heavier devices like card readers and fan controllers without flex. The 2-year warranty and TAA compliance also matter for business buyers.
When is it cheapest?
No price was given for this listing, so there is no price history to point to a low point. Compare across stores before buying.
