Questions and answers

Is the Costway pre-lit tree worth it?
At $29.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026 it is a cheap way to get a white pre-lit tree. Expect a lighter, less full tree than premium brands, and check the lights when it arrives.
Does it come with lights already on it?
Yes. The listing shows 350 warm white LEDs pre-strung on the tree, with constant light only and no twinkle or dimming modes.
How is it powered?
It runs on batteries, not a wall plug, so you can place it away from outlets. Budget for replacement batteries through December.
Can I use it outdoors?
Costway lists it for indoor and outdoor use, but it has no NRTL safety listing. Keep it under cover and out of direct rain.
What sizes are available?
It comes in 6, 7 and 8 ft heights. The 8 ft version is about 5 ft wide, so measure your space before ordering.
