Is a 6-foot round rug big enough for a dining table?

A 6-foot round rug fits a 4-seat round or square table with chairs pulled out. For a 6-seat table, measure the chair pull-out space; you generally want at least 24 inches of rug beyond the table edge.

Does hand-tufted wool shed?

Yes. New hand-tufted wool rugs shed loose fibers for the first few weeks. Vacuum without a beater bar and the shedding settles down.

How do I clean an ivory wool rug?

Vacuum regularly and blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a wool-safe cleaner or professional service; do not machine wash it.

Will it fit under furniture?

At 0.5 inches deep, most chair and sofa legs sit on it without wobbling. Add a rug pad to stop slipping on hardwood or tile.

Is $195.99 a good price for this rug?

It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Compare it with other 6-foot hand-tufted wool rounds, which often run $200 to $400.
