Is a seagrass rug soft enough for a living room?

No. Seagrass is firm and coarse, so it suits low-traffic rooms better than spots where people sit on the floor. Add a rug pad for a little more cushion.

Can this rug go in a nursery or bedroom?

It can, but the rough texture makes it a better fit for entryways, dining rooms and living rooms. For nurseries, a softer material is usually more comfortable.

Does the 6-foot round rug fit under a dining table?

A 6-foot round rug works under a small round or square table with chairs pulled in. Measure your table first; chairs should stay on the rug when pulled out.

How do I clean a seagrass rug?

Vacuum without a beater bar and blot spills right away with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking it, since seagrass can stain and warp with too much water.

Is $65 a good price for this rug?

Yes. That is a low price for a 6-foot seagrass rug, and it is the best new price among the four stores listing it as of November 5, 2026.
