Is the 70mai Omni worth it over a standard 4K dash cam?

If you want cabin and side coverage from one unit, the 360° view is the reason to pay more. For road-only footage, a single-lens 4K cam is cheaper and sharper.

Does it record the rear of the car?

It captures a wide 360° view around the camera, including the cabin and side windows. It does not replace a rear-window camera for clear footage of cars directly behind you.

Do I need extra accessories for parking mode?

Yes. Motion-sensing parking recording needs a hardwire kit to keep the camera powered while the car is off. Without it, recording stops when the ignition does.

How much video can a 4K 360° camera store?

4K files are large, so plan on a high-endurance microSD card of 64GB or more. Loop recording overwrites the oldest clips, and locked event clips fill the card faster.

Expect the camera, a mounting bracket, a car power adapter and cable, and basic documentation. A memory card and hardwire kit are usually not included.

Our take on the 70mai Omni 4K 360° Dash Cam

The 70mai Omni is a dash cam that records in 4K and covers a full 360° field of view, so one camera can capture the road ahead and the cabin or rear in a single frame. It adds motion sensing for parking surveillance and comes in red or red-and-white finishes. It sits in 70mai's upper tier, above the single-lens 4K models, and suits drivers who want all-around coverage without a second camera.
