Our take on the Acanva Lumi Modular Slipcover Sofa with Exposed Wood Frame

The Acanva Lumi is a two-piece L-shaped modular sectional with removable, reversible slipcovers on its seat and back cushions. Its armless, low-profile design sits on an exposed aluminum frame with a wood-grain base, and the linen-like fabric is meant to be swapped or washed rather than replaced. The best new price is $2,199 at Acanva as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Best forRenters and households that want washable, changeable coversOpen living rooms where an armless L-shape fitsBuyers who rearrange seating oftenPeople who want a lighter frame than solid wood
Pros
  • Slipcovers on seat and back cushions come off for cleaning or replacement
  • Modular pieces can be separated and recombined
  • Aluminum frame keeps the weight down for a sectional
  • Armless profile saves floor space and suits tight corners
  • Reversible cushions spread wear
Cons
  • Only one store lists it new, so there is no price competition
  • $2,199 is a lot for a two-piece slipcovered sofa
  • Linen-like fabric shows wrinkles and creases
  • Armless design gives no side support for leaning
  • No published cushion fill or weight ratings to judge firmness

Questions and answers

Is the Acanva Lumi worth $2,199?
That depends on how much you value washable, replaceable covers. At $2,199 from a single seller there is no discount pressure, so compare it against slipcovered sectionals from larger brands before committing.
Can I wash the slipcovers?
The seat and back cushion covers are removable, which is the point of the design. Check the care label before machine washing, since linen-like blends can shrink or pill.
How many people does it seat?
It is a two-piece L-shaped sectional, so plan on roughly three to four seated adults depending on the length of each piece. Measure your room against the full footprint before ordering.
Is the frame solid wood?
No. The frame and legs are aluminum with a wood-grain finish on the base. That makes it lighter to move than a wood-framed sectional but gives a different look up close.
Does it come with both pieces in one box?
It is sold as a two-piece set, so expect two modules that join into the L-shape. Confirm delivery and assembly details with the seller, since only one store lists it.
When is the price likely to drop?
With a single seller at $2,199 as of November 4, 2026, discounts are unlikely outside major sale periods. Track the price history before buying if you are not in a hurry.
Where is the Acanva Lumi Modular Slipcover Sofa with Exposed Wood Frame cheapest?
At Acanva, for $2,199.00, as of our latest check.
