Is the Bryant sofa worth it?

If a washable, modular sofa matters to you, it is a reasonable pick, especially on sale. At full list price it competes with custom sofas that offer similar covers.

How does it compare to Joybird's non-slipcovered sofas?

The Bryant trades a tailored upholstered look for removable, washable covers. Non-slipcovered Joybird models look cleaner but cannot be re-covered as easily.

Can I wash the slipcovers?

Yes. Joybird lists the Bryant covers as washable. Follow the care label and expect some shrinkage and wrinkling, so re-fit them while slightly damp.

How long does delivery take?

Joybird builds to order, so expect several weeks to a few months rather than quick shipping. Confirm the current lead time before ordering.

Can I add sections later?

Yes, that is the point of the modular design. Check that the fabric and arm style are still available before you rely on matching a future add-on.

Joybird discounts heavily around major sale holidays. Waiting for a sitewide sale usually beats buying at list price.

Our take on the Joybird Bryant Mid Century Modern Slipcovered Modular Sofa

The Bryant is Joybird's modular, slipcovered sofa in a mid-century silhouette with sloped arms. The washable slipcover is the main draw: you can pull it off and clean it instead of living with stains. It is sold as a modular piece, so you can add sections later. Joybird runs frequent sales, and the Bryant is usually discounted from list price during those events, so the price you see moves a lot week to week.
