Do I need an AccuQuilt GO! cutter to use this?

Yes. The dies are made for the AccuQuilt GO! fabric cutter and will not work with a standard die-cut machine. Budget for the cutter if you do not own one.

What block size does this set make?

It makes 8-inch finished quilt blocks. The dies are sized for that block, so shapes will not scale to other block sizes.

What shapes are included?

The 14 dies include square on point, half-square triangle, parallelogram and rectangle shapes. They mix and match to build many geometric block patterns.

Is it worth it over buying single dies?

If you cut many 8-inch blocks, the bundle is usually cheaper than buying the same shapes one at a time. For occasional cutting, a single die may be enough.

What fabric can I cut with it?

The dies are designed for fabric, including quilting cotton. Thick materials like leather or heavy canvas are not recommended.

Quilting retailers often discount AccuQuilt sets during sales and holiday events. Compare the bundle price against single-die prices before buying.

Our take on the AccuQuilt GO! Qube Mix & Match 8" Block

The AccuQuilt GO! Qube Mix & Match 8" Block is a 14-die set for the GO! fabric cutter that cuts the shapes needed for 8-inch quilt blocks. Each die is a two-tone foam tray with a geometric shape, and the set includes a storage system to keep them organized. It is aimed at quilters who want fast, accurate cutting without rotary tools. The set is sold at a premium over single dies, so compare the bundle price against buying shapes individually.
