Is the Acer Mr.jw011.001 worth it?

It suits buyers who want a cheap 1080p DLP projector for a dark room or office. The limited inputs and small zoom make it a poor fit if you need HDMI or flexible placement.

The listed inputs are RS232 and a 3.5 mm mini jack, with no HDMI port. Check the exact model listing before buying if HDMI is required.

How big an image can it throw?

It projects from 28 inches up to 305 inches diagonally. Brightness drops as the image grows, so large sizes need a dark room.

Does it support wireless casting?

Yes. It supports Miracast and EZCast Wi-Fi mirroring from compatible phones and laptops.

How long does the lamp last?

Lamp life depends on the mode used and is not stated here. Budget for a replacement lamp, since 245 W lamps typically last a few thousand hours.

Can it be ceiling mounted?

Yes. It supports front and rear ceiling mounting and has a 116% projection offset for positioning.
