Our take on the Auoshi Projector with Wifi and Bluetooth Portable Projectors 4K Support Mini Projector with Speaker

The Auoshi is a budget LCD projector with native 1080p resolution and support for 4K input signals. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a built-in speaker, 50% digital zoom, and a claimed 100,000-hour lamp life. It projects 40 to 200 inches from about 4.9 to 16.4 feet. It is a low-cost entry into big-screen home theater, not a true 4K projector.

Questions and answers

Is it really 4K?
No. The panel is native 1080p; it accepts 4K input and downscales it. Expect a sharp 1080p picture, not 4K detail.
How bright is it?
Auoshi does not publish ANSI lumens, and budget LCD projectors in this class are dim. Plan on a dark room or a shaded outdoor setup after sunset.
Can I connect a phone or console?
Yes, over Wi-Fi screen mirroring or HDMI. Bluetooth handles audio to a speaker or soundbar. Check that your phone supports mirroring.
How far back should it sit?
About 4.9 to 16.4 feet for a 40 to 200 inch image. Use the 50% zoom and 15-degree keystone to fine-tune the fit.
Does it come with a screen or mount?
No. The box has the projector, remote and cables. You supply the screen, tripod or ceiling mount.
When is the price lowest?
Budget projectors like this drop most during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Check the price history before buying.
