Our take on the Acme Furniture Leonia 3-Seat Standard Sofa in Saddle Tan Leather

The Leonia is a three-seat sofa from Acme Furniture, upholstered in saddle tan leather over a wood frame with full foam D28 cushions. At 88 inches long and 38 inches deep, it is a large contemporary piece with a tight back, sloped arms and metal legs. The tight-back build keeps the silhouette clean but means no loose back cushions to fluff or replace. It suits buyers who want a wide leather sofa with a low-maintenance shape.

Questions and answers

Is the Leonia sofa real leather or bonded leather?
Acme lists the upholstery as leather in saddle tan. Confirm with the seller whether it is full-grain, top-grain or a leather match on the sides and back before buying, since that changes how it wears.
Will an 88-inch sofa fit through my door?
Measure the doorway and any hallway turns first. The sofa is 88 inches long, 38 inches deep and 34 inches high, so a standard 36-inch door will not take it upright; it usually goes in on its side or through a wider opening.
How firm are the seat cushions?
The cushions use D28 full foam, which is a medium-firm density. Expect a supportive seat that softens slightly over the first months rather than a deep sink-in feel.
How do I clean saddle tan leather?
Wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth and use a leather conditioner a few times a year. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat vents to limit fading and cracking.
Does it come assembled?
Most Acme sofas ship with the frame assembled and only the legs to attach. Check the listing's assembly note, since some models require attaching arms or legs.
When is the best time to buy a leather sofa?
Leather sofas tend to see the deepest discounts around Labor Day, Black Friday and Presidents' Day sales. Compare the current price against the product's price history before buying.
