Is the ACTBEST Blaze worth $569?

At $569 at Actbest as of November 4, 2026, it undercuts most full-suspension e-bikes with a 1200W peak motor. The trade-off is a heavy frame, small wheels and a single speed, so it suits short trips more than long commutes.

How fast does it go and how far on a charge?

ACTBEST rates it at 25 mph top speed and about 40 miles of pedal-assist range. Expect noticeably less range if you ride mostly on throttle at full speed.

Can a teenager ride it?

ACTBEST lists teens and adults as suitable users, and the 330-350 lb capacity covers most riders. At 25 mph it is fast for younger teens, so check local age and helmet laws.

What is the difference between the 16-inch and 20-inch versions?

The 16-inch model is more compact and moped-like; the 20-inch rolls over bumps and gravel better and is more stable at speed. Both share the same motor, battery and suspension layout.

Does it come with pedals or is it throttle only?

It has pedals and three pedal-assist levels, but the single-speed drivetrain means pedaling is mainly for assist and low-speed riding. The throttle does most of the work.

The IPX54 rating covers rain and splashes on the electronics. It is not waterproof for submersion, and wet disc brakes need extra stopping distance.

Our take on the ACTBEST Blaze 16″ + 20″

The ACTBEST Blaze is a small-wheel electric bike sold as a 16-inch and 20-inch pair, built like a mini electric motorcycle with a 1200W peak hub motor, dual suspension and a 48V 10.4Ah battery. It tops out at 25 mph with a claimed 40-mile pedal-assist range and carries up to 330-350 lbs. At $569 at Actbest as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. The 77.2 lb weight and single-speed drivetrain make it a throttle-and-cruise machine rather than a pedal bike.
