Our take on the ADDTOP Magnetic Portable Charger 10000mAh Slim 15W Wireless Power Bank

The ADDTOP C19PW is a 10,000mAh magnetic power bank that snaps onto the back of a MagSafe-compatible iPhone and charges it wirelessly at up to 15W. A USB-C port delivers up to 20W wired, so it can fast-charge a phone or top up a second device. It is slim at 1.85 cm and light for its capacity, which makes it easy to carry in a pocket. No price was given for this listing, so check the current store price against its recent range before buying.

Best foriPhone 12 and later owners who want cable-free top-upsCommuters and travelers who carry a phone all dayPeople who want one battery for wireless and wired charging
Pros
  • 15W magnetic wireless charging holds the phone in place without a cable
  • 20W USB-C output fast-charges phones and small devices
  • 10,000mAh is enough for roughly two full phone charges
  • Slim 1.85 cm body fits a pocket or small bag
  • USB-C input means one cable for charging the bank and your phone
Cons
  • 15W wireless is slower than the 20W wired output
  • Magnetic hold works best with MagSafe cases; thick cases weaken it
  • Wireless charging wastes power as heat, so real capacity is below 10,000mAh
  • No display, only LED indicators for battery level
  • The 20 g listed weight is implausible for a 10,000mAh bank; expect closer to 200 g

Questions and answers

Will it stick to my iPhone?
It uses magnets rated at 12N and is designed for MagSafe-compatible iPhones (12 and later) or a MagSafe case. Phones without magnets need a magnetic ring or case to hold it.
How fast does it charge?
Wireless charging tops out at 15W, and the USB-C port delivers up to 20W wired. Expect wireless charging to be noticeably slower than a cable.
How many charges will I get?
The 10,000mAh cell should give most phones about two full charges over USB-C. Wireless charging loses more energy to heat, so expect somewhat less that way.
Can it charge Android phones and other devices?
Yes over USB-C at up to 20W. Wireless charging works on any Qi phone, but the magnets only align properly with MagSafe iPhones or a magnetic case.
What comes in the box?
Typically the power bank and a USB-C cable. Check the listing for the exact contents, since bundles vary by seller.
When is it cheapest?
Magnetic power banks usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
