Our take on the Adesso Vega LED Torchiere

The Adesso Vega is a 68-inch torchiere floor lamp with a 24 W integrated LED and a touch dimmer. It throws light up from the tube shade and has an adjustable downlight for reading or task light. The antique brass and black finish gives it a mid-century look. At $169.50 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, with four stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Adesso Vega worth $169.50?
It is a fair buy if you want a tall, dimmable uplight with a reading downlight and like the brass look. At $169.50 it is at the top of its recent range, so waiting for a drop is reasonable if brightness is your priority.
Can I replace the LED bulb?
No. The 24 W LED is integrated and non-removable, so the lamp lasts as long as the LED module does.
How bright is it?
It uses 24 W of LED split between the uplight and downlight, which suits ambient room lighting but will not brightly light a large space on its own.
Does it work with a dimmer switch or smart home?
Dimming is by touch on the lamp itself. It does not connect to apps or smart-home systems, and it plugs into a standard 120 V outlet.
How tall is it and what space does it need?
It stands 68 inches tall and about 10 inches wide, so it fits in a corner or beside a sofa but needs a nearby outlet.
When is it cheapest?
Torchiere prices tend to dip during holiday sales and clearance events. Check the price history before buying, since $169.50 is near the high end of its range.
