Is the aFe Stage-2 intake worth it on a stock GTI?
If you want more turbo sound and a reusable oil-free filter, yes. The claimed +16 hp is a peak figure, so do not expect a big seat-of-the-pants gain without a tune.
Does it fit my 2015 or newer GTI?
No. This kit is listed for the 2010-2014 GTI with the 2.0L turbo four. Later Mk7 cars use a different intake layout.
Do I have to oil the filter?
No. The Pro DRY S is a dry, three-layer synthetic filter. Clean it, let it dry and reinstall it without oil, which avoids MAF sensor contamination.
