Our take on the AKASUKI Portable Auto-Oscillating Clip-On Fan 4000mAh 3 Speeds

The AKASUKI Clip-On Fan is a rechargeable personal fan with a 4000mAh battery, three speeds and an auto-oscillating head. It clips onto strollers, desks, bed frames and gym equipment, and the adjustable height lets it sit closer to you. It also has an automatic shutoff. It is a small-brand accessory, so check the clip grip and battery claims before you commit.

Questions and answers

How long does the 4000mAh battery last?
AKASUKI does not publish a runtime figure. Expect the longest run on low speed and the shortest on high with oscillation on. Charge it fully before first use and test it on your own schedule.
Does the oscillation work while clipped on?
Yes. The head oscillates automatically, so the clip stays fixed while the fan sweeps side to side. That covers more of a stroller or desk than a fixed head.
What can the clip attach to?
It is designed for stroller frames, bed frames, desk edges and similar rails. Check the thickness of your rail before buying, since the jaw opening is not listed.
Is it good for a stroller?
It is a reasonable fit: the clip mounts on the frame and oscillation keeps air moving over the seat. Keep the fan out of a child's reach and check the clip holds when the stroller bumps.
What is in the box?
Expect the fan and a charging cable. A wall adapter is usually not included, so use a standard USB charger you already own.
What do buyers say about the AKASUKI Portable Auto-Oscillating Clip-On Fan 4000mAh 3 Speeds?
