Is the Alcatel TCL K33 5G worth buying?

It makes sense if you want a cheap Verizon Prepaid 5G phone for calls, messaging and light apps. If you need sharp photos, smooth gaming or a crisp screen, spend more.

How good is the battery?

The 5010mAh cell is rated for up to 35 hours of talk time, which is generous for this class. Heavy screen use will still need a nightly charge.

No. At 6.75 inches and 1280x720, pixel density is low, so text and video look softer than on 1080p phones.

Can I expand the storage?

The phone has 64GB built in and 4GB of RAM. Check the listing for a microSD slot before relying on expansion, since not every regional variant includes one.

Does it work on other carriers?

This is a Verizon Prepaid model, so it is tied to Verizon Prepaid service. Do not expect it to activate on another network.

What comes in the box?

Expect the phone, a charger and a USB-C cable. Confirm the bundle with the seller, since prepaid packages vary.
