How long does the 5-pack last?

Alen recommends changing the 45i filter roughly every 6 to 9 months, so five filters cover about 2.5 to 3.5 years. Heavy use or a smoky, pet-heavy home shortens that.

Is this a good price per filter?

At $378 at ALEN as of November 7, 2026, each filter comes to about $76. Compare that with the single-filter price before buying, since the pack only saves if you will use all five.

Do these fit any other Alen purifier?

No. These are made for the BreatheSmart 45i. Other BreatheSmart models such as the 35i or 75i take different filters.

Is this a HEPA filter?

Yes. Each unit is a HEPA filter for air purification, the same type Alen ships with the 45i.

Five replacement HEPA filter cartridges. The purifier itself is not included.

When is the best time to buy?

Multi-packs rarely discount deeply, but Alen has run promotions around major sales events. If you are not due for a change, waiting for a sale is reasonable.
