Is the Clifford sofa worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you want a long leather sofa with a custom look and can wait for made-to-order delivery. Compare it against in-stock leather sofas at similar prices before committing.

How long does the made-to-order sofa take to arrive?

AllModern lists it as made to order, so delivery typically runs several weeks rather than days. Confirm the current lead time with the store before ordering.

Does the leather need special care?

Top-grain leather should be dusted and conditioned a few times a year and kept out of direct sun. Wipe spills quickly with a damp cloth.

Will it fit through a standard doorway?

The sofa is 87 inches wide and 37 inches deep, so check door and hallway widths and whether the arms come off. Measure the delivery path before ordering.

What is included with the sofa?

The listing describes one sofa; the highlighted features mention an ottoman, so confirm with the store whether one is included or sold separately.

When is the best time to buy?

Made-to-order furniture rarely discounts deeply, but AllModern runs seasonal sales. Track the price history and buy during a sitewide event.

Our take on the AllModern Clifford 87'' Steamboat Charcoal Genuine Leather Sofa

The AllModern Clifford is an 87-inch shelter-arm sofa in charcoal top-grain leather, built for three-seat living rooms with a mid-century or Scandi look. It has feather-blend seat and pillow-back cushions, removable covers, and a steel sinuous spring base rated to 750 lb. The 18-inch seat height and 22-inch seat depth suit most adults, while the 36-inch overall height keeps it low under windows. It is made to order, so lead times run longer than in-stock sofas.
