Our take on the Alvantor Christmas Tree Pre-Lit Pencil

The Alvantor Pre-Lit Pencil is a 7-foot artificial Christmas tree with a slim footprint: about 21.75 inches wide and deep, so it fits hallways, apartments and tight corners. It comes pre-strung with lights, which saves the usual stringing time. The best new price is $60.99 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026, and it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Slim 21.75-inch footprint fits narrow spaces
  • 7-foot height gives full-height look without width
  • Pre-lit, so no separate string lights to hang
  • Pencil shape suits corners, doorways and beside furniture
  • Low price for a lit 7-foot tree at $60.99
Cons
  • Narrow profile holds fewer ornaments than a full tree
  • Pre-lit wiring can fail and is harder to replace
  • Sparse look up close on some pencil trees
  • Only one new price listed, so little price history to judge

Questions and answers

How wide is the Alvantor Pre-Lit Pencil tree?
It is about 21.75 inches wide and deep, with an 84-inch (7-foot) height. That slim shape is the point: it fits where a full-width tree will not.
Is it worth $60.99?
At $60.99 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026, it is a low price for a pre-lit 7-foot tree. It is the only new price listed, so compare against similar pencil trees before deciding.
Does it come with lights included?
Yes. It is pre-lit, so lights are built in and you do not need to string them yourself. Check the light count and spare bulbs before buying.
How many ornaments will it hold?
Fewer than a full-width tree. The narrow profile suits a lighter trim of small ornaments, ribbon and a topper rather than a dense collection.
Where does a pencil tree like this work best?
Hallways, entryways, small living rooms and corners. Its 21.75-inch width lets it stand where a standard 4-foot-wide tree would block a walkway.
When is the cheapest time to buy?
Pre-lit trees usually drop after Thanksgiving and again right after Christmas. Watch the price history for a dip below $60.99.
Where is the Alvantor Christmas Tree Pre-Lit Pencil cheapest?
At Walmart, for $60.99, as of our latest check.
