Is a 6-inch mattress thick enough for an adult?

For a light adult or occasional use, usually yes. Heavier sleepers will feel the base through the foam and should look at 8 inches or more.

Does it work on an adjustable bed?

Yes. Alwyn Home lists it for adjustable bed frames, and the thin profile bends easily.

Is gel memory foam cooler than regular memory foam?

It is designed to sleep cooler, but a 6-inch foam mattress still traps some heat. A breathable protector helps.

What sizes does it come in?

The listing is for a Full size. Check the brand's other listings if you need Twin or Queen.

How long will it last?

Expect a few years in a guest or kids' room. In daily adult use, thin foam like this tends to compress sooner than a thicker mattress.

Our take on the Alwyn Home Sweet Memory Foam Mattress

The Alwyn Home Sweet is a 6-inch gel memory foam mattress sold in a Full size and built to work on adjustable bed frames. The thin profile suits bunk beds, trundles, guest rooms and kids' rooms more than a primary adult bed. Gel infusion is meant to pull heat away from the foam, which plain memory foam tends to trap. At 6 inches there is little foam between you and the base, so heavier sleepers will feel the platform underneath.
