Questions and answers

Is this fire pit really smokeless?
It uses secondary combustion to burn off much of the smoke, which works best once the pit is hot and loaded with dry, seasoned wood. Expect some smoke on startup and in windy or damp conditions.
How big a fire can I build in it?
The 15 in. firebox takes short logs, roughly 12 to 14 inches, and suits small fires for a few people. It is not built for large, roaring fires.
Does the ash pan make cleanup easier?
Yes. The removable pan lifts out so you can dump ash without tipping the whole pit. Let the ash cool completely before removing it.
Can I use it on a wood deck?
Only with a heat-resistant pad underneath and clearance from railings and overhead structures. Check your local rules and the deck manufacturer's guidance first.
Is $84.74 a good price?
It is the only new price listed as of November 3, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with similar 15 in. smokeless pits before deciding.
What comes in the box?
The fire pit and removable ash pan are included. A cover, poker, and spark screen are not listed, so plan to buy them separately.
Where is the Ama pear Black 15 in. Wood Burning Smokeless Fire Pit with Removable Ash Pan cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $84.74, as of our latest check.
