Is this scale accurate enough for airline baggage limits?

It is rated to +/- 0.1 lb, which is fine for checking against typical 50 lb limits. Weigh the bag twice and hold it still for the steadiest reading.

What is the maximum weight it can measure?

50 kg, or about 110 lb. That covers most checked bags; an overload indicator warns you past the limit.

Does it show pounds or kilograms?

Both. It switches between kg and lb, with 50 g and 0.1 lb increments.

What comes in the box?

The scale and a CR2032 battery. No adapter or pouch is included.

Is $8.99 a good price?

It is a low price for a digital luggage scale, and only one store listed it new at $8.99 as of November 7, 2026. With one listing, check stock before counting on it.

Can I use it to weigh parcels or pets?

Yes for parcels within 50 kg. For pets, use the tare function with a carrier, but a moving animal makes readings jump.
