How much weight can it measure?

Up to 40 kg, roughly 88 lb, which covers standard checked luggage. An overload indicator warns you when you go past the limit.

Does it show pounds as well as kilograms?

Yes. You can switch the display between kg and lb, so it works for airline limits quoted either way.

How does the data lock work?

When the weight settles, the scale holds the reading and beeps. You can lower the bag and still read the number on the display.

What is the tare function for?

Tare lets you zero out a bag, strap or container so only the contents are counted. Useful when you weigh a packed item inside something else.

How big and heavy is it?

It measures about 18 x 10 x 3.7 cm and weighs 73 g, so it fits in a side pocket or toiletry bag.
