Is the Fire HD 10 worth it at $79.99?

At $79.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is a strong value for streaming, reading and browsing. If you need Google Play apps or heavy multitasking, spend more on an iPad or Android tablet.

Can I install Google Play on it?

Not out of the box. Fire OS uses Amazon's Appstore, and Google Play requires a manual sideload that Amazon does not support.

How much storage do I actually get?

The 32 GB model leaves roughly 20 GB free after system files. A microSD card is the easy fix for movies and photos.

Does the battery really last 13 hours?

Amazon rates it at up to 13 hours of mixed use. Expect closer to 8 to 10 hours with video streaming at high brightness.

What comes in the box?

The tablet, a USB-C charging cable, a power adapter and the stylus in this listing. Check the listing for the exact bundle before buying.

Fire tablets drop most during Prime Day and Black Friday. $79.99 is already near the low end for this model.
