Our take on the Americh Wright 7236 Bathtub

The Americh Wright 7236 is a drop-in acrylic bathtub with built-in jets, part of Americh's Wright line. Acrylic holds water heat well and keeps the tub lighter than cast iron, while the jetted setup turns it into a whirlpool bath. The best new price is $3,030 at KBA as of November 6, 2026, and it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Best forBathroom remodels with a drop-in tub deckBuyers who want a jetted soak at homeOwners replacing an old whirlpool tubLarger bathrooms with room for a 72-inch tub
Pros
  • Acrylic surface is warm to the touch and easy to wipe clean
  • Drop-in install sits in a deck or surround, which simplifies access to plumbing
  • Built-in jets add a whirlpool soak without a separate unit
  • Lighter than cast iron or stone, so it is easier to move and set
  • Wright line gives a known Americh model to match fixtures
Cons
  • Only one new price is listed, so there is no price history to judge the deal
  • Jetted tubs need the pump and plumbing reachable, which a drop-in deck can complicate
  • Acrylic can scratch and dull without careful cleaning
  • Jetted models cost well above a plain soaking tub
  • No specs given for jet count, pump size or water capacity

Questions and answers

Is the Americh Wright 7236 a jetted tub?
Yes. It is a drop-in acrylic tub with built-in jets, so it works as a whirlpool bath rather than a plain soaker.
Is $3,030 a good price for this tub?
KBA lists it at $3,030 as of November 6, 2026, and it is the only new price on record. With no other listings or price history, there is nothing to compare it against.
What size bathroom does a 72-inch tub need?
The 7236 name points to a 72-inch length, so plan a deck or alcove at least that long plus framing and clearance. Confirm the exact dimensions with Americh before cutting the deck.
Can the Wright 7236 be used as a shower too?
It is a drop-in bath, not a shower base, so it is meant for soaking. A shower would need a separate enclosure or a tub-shower setup.
What is included with the tub?
Typically the acrylic shell and the jetted system; the faucet, drain and trim are usually sold separately. Check the KBA listing for what the $3,030 price covers.
Where is the Americh Wright 7236 Bathtub cheapest?
At KBA, for $3,030.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Americh Wright 7236 Bathtub?
3 stores we checked sell it, including KBA, Focal Point Hardware, Fuse Specialty Appliances.
