Is the Ancheer electric bike worth it?

For a budget commuter or light-trail bike, yes. The 500W motor, throttle and disc brakes are solid for the price, but don't expect premium components or long range on high assist.

How far can it go on one charge?

Ancheer rates up to 40 miles on the lowest pedal-assist level. Expect noticeably less — often 15 to 25 miles — if you use the throttle heavily or ride on high assist.

What is the top speed?

About 19.8 mph with the 500W motor. That keeps it under the 20 mph line many states use for class 2 e-bikes, but check your local rules.

Does it come with a throttle and pedal assist?

Yes. It has a thumb throttle and four levels of pedal assist, and you can switch between them at any time.

What size rider does the 26-inch frame fit?

It is built for adults, roughly 5'3" to 6'2", depending on seat and handlebar adjustment. Check the standover height before buying if you are near either end.

E-bike prices on this model tend to dip during spring sales and end-of-season clearance. Compare current store prices and the price history before buying.
